Introducing the Chevy Silverado ZR2 Bison Pickup Truck

Standard Features

The Silverado ZR2 Bison comes with many of the Silverado ZR2’s standard features. To start, the multimatic 40-mm DSSV spool-valve dampeners offer three separate spool valves to control dampening and three connected chambers for fluid flow. When combined with the uniquely tuned springs, that provides superior maximum front and rear suspension travel when compared to the Silverado Trail Boss. Front and rear e-lockers and specific off-road chassis and suspension calibrations that allow for one-pedal rock crawling all come standard as well.

Offroading Support

What separates the Silverado ZR2 Bison from the rest are some of the offroading support features that come with it. Standard offroading support features include steel rocker panel protection, a three-piece steel front bumper with integrated black vertical front tow hooks, and AEV-stamped steel front and rear bumpers that feature heavy-duty recovery points and integrated step pads. The front bumper is also compatible with a winch accessory, should you wish to add one. The front and rear differentials, transfer case, and fuel tank are protected by five unique hot-stamped boron steel skid plates. These skid plates are three times stronger because they use press-hardened steel instead of cold-stamped high-strength steel, making them even better at protecting against underbody damage. No offroading truck is complete without a quality set of wheels, which is why the Silverado ZR2 Bison comes equipped with exclusive gloss black 18-inch AEV wheels and 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires.

Aesthetics

How a truck looks can be a big deal to truck owners. The Silverado ZR2 Bison has an exclusive body-color grill bar that creates a great contrast against the black grille design. The signature ZR2 badge is featured prominently on the truck’s front to the right of the Chevy “flowtie”. The Multi-Flex tailgate has a matte black finish that is unique to the Bison model. It makes the Chevrolet bowtie really stand out in the center of the tailgate. You’ll find tasteful acknowledgments of the AEV-Chevy collaboration throughout the vehicle’s interior and exterior, including on the all-weather floor liners and front headrests.

Power

Arguably one of the biggest attractions that draw vehicle owners to pickup trucks is the power they offer. If you need to tow heavy loads, get yourself out of some mud, or traverse rough terrain, a pickup truck is the vehicle of choice. The key ingredient to success: engine power and torque. The Silverado ZR2 Bison comes with the standard 6.2 L V-8 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This engine delivers plenty of power and torque to handle rough terrain, clocking in at 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
