We are thrilled to connect people with these thrilling vehicles and know that as a Chevy dealership, we here at Riverton Chevrolet are at the forefront of change. Let’s take a closer look at some of the exciting current and upcoming vehicles Chevy will have available for their loyal drivers.
An Array of SUV Models
The Chevy brand is known for quite a few things, like fast cars and powerful trucks, but they are also known for their impressive segment of SUVs and CUVs. The Chevy Suburban is one of the leaders in the SUV pack and holds the flagship title, as well as several “best of” titles. The Suburban is America’s go-to SUV for a mondo-sized luxury ride. Best-in-class cargo volume, seating for up to nine, and ample power make this powerhouse SUV worth looking at. The 2023 year introduces Super Cruise, a hands-free driver-assistance technology available on select models and trims.
Super Cruise was also added to the 2023 Chevy Tahoe, another legendary SUV that has been attracting drivers for years. The Chevy Tahoe was named the “#1 Large SUV in New Vehicle Quality” for the 2022 production year by J.D. Power, carrying over those traits into 2023. The Tahoe and the Suburban offer an available first-in-class Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension system that changes with road conditions. The result is improved control and overall efficiency, proving once more that the automotive industry continues to grow with leaps and bounds.
The Trailblazer and the Traverse both receive a few new exterior colors, but other than that, they carry over from 2022 mostly unchanged. It is a similar story for our sizzling electric friends, the 2023 Bolt EV and EUV, which remain mostly unchanged, with the exception of a few cosmetic options added and the addition of the exciting 2023 Bolt EUV Redline Edition. The red-hot Redline Edition features a dramatic color motif of reds and blacks, making a statement wherever you go. Both electric options remain extremely affordable, improving the inclusivity of efficient auto options.
The 2023 Chevy Equinox received the most attention for the 2023 model year, rolling off the assembly line with a bump in power thanks to the turbocharged engine. A new and improved electronic braking system and a few new stand-out exterior colors add to the Equinox’s glow-up. A Redline Edition appearance option was also added to the Equinox, adding black accents, special badging, and more. You can also choose the Midnight Edition package that includes blackout features added to the exterior for a sleek and modern option.

Rugged and Reliable Chevy Trucks
Enhancements aplenty accompany the 2023 Chevy Colorado, like the first-ever Colorado Trail Boss that elevates the Colorado’s off-roading abilities quite literally. The Trail Boss features a wider chassis and a factory-installed 2-inch lift to aid in off-road adventures. The Trail Boss isn’t the only one ready to hit the trails; so is the upgraded ZR2. The ZR2 features a high-output engine that produces even more excitement at 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. The ZR2 is also equipped with a lift kit, but it has been bumped to three inches off the ground and includes an extra drive mode known as Baja. Skid plates, rocker panels, and upgraded dampers are also part of the package.
In the spirit of innovation, the Colorado has an available first-in-class StowFlex Tailgate. A compartment offers storage for gear and can be locked to protect valuables. As an added benefit, a drain plug is included so that the tailgate can be converted into a cooler and can be easily drained after the party is over.
We can’t forget the Silverado, which was introduced with the rugged ZR2 Bison trim and takes the cake when it comes to showing some muscle. Heavy-duty steel skid plates, rocker panels, and front and rear bumpers turn the Silverado into a veritable tank. The Bison was a collaboration project with American Expedition Vehicles and sports AEV logos on both the exterior and interior of the Silverado trim.
The original Silverado is not left untouched, with an upgraded second-generation Duramax engine providing even more power than before. New exterior color options and a new interior dual-tone option are added for 2023. Beyond that, the Silverado still offers all the benefits that have made it a best-selling vehicle for decades.
Blink and You Might Miss the 2023 Performance Line-Up
Chevy has style, which is evident when you spy on one of the 2023 performance vehicles, such as the 2023 Chevy Camaro. Following the philosophy of “Why mess with a good thing?” Chevy left the Camaro relatively untouched. Some exciting exterior color options were added, like Sharkskin Metallic, as well as some new wheel designs. Beyond that, most of the attention was aimed at the 2023 Chevy Corvette.
While most of the additions for 2023 revolve around minor cosmetics and the Stealth Trim package, one addition should be celebrated: the 70th Anniversary Special Edition Corvette. The 70th Anniversary Edition stands out from the crowd with a myriad of 70th Anniversary badging on both the exterior and the interior. Special seating options with distinct red stitching and red seat belts put the “sports” in sports car and match the Edge Red brake calipers, engine cover, and custom luggage set that is included. The Corvette is the longest-running nameplate in the industry and therefore deserves all the glitz and glam of a 70th Anniversary Special Edition celebration.
The special edition option is available on the Stingray, as well as the highly anticipated Corvette Z06. This all-new version of the Z06 will have you at the edge of your seat, not to mention pinned to it. Every aspect of the new Z06 has been designed for optimal track performance, from the mid-engine 5.5-liter V8 to the GT2 performance seats. We are thrilled to see the Z06 back and better than ever.
A Glimpse Into the Future: Exploring the Available 2024 Models
One of the most exciting things for the 2024 model year is already happening with the introduction of the Corvette E-Ray. The Corvette has been hit by lightning, resulting in an electrified version of the Corvette, a first of its kind. The E-Ray can jump from 0-60 mph in a dizzying 2.5 seconds, thanks to the harmonious combination of the small block V8 and electric drive unit. The 2024 Corvette E-Ray also features some cutting-edge systems, such as the e-AWD and Magnetic Ride Control. These systems take the Corvette E-Ray from track to touring with ease.
The 2024 model year welcomes the all-electric Chevy Silverado. With a fully charged battery, drivers can expect up to 400 miles of uninterrupted drive time. The Silverado can receive its charge via home or on-the-go charging, making it simple to get on the road. Despite its all-electric system, the Silverado has remained a very capable truck, able to tow up to 10,000 lbs. Features like Four Wheel Steer and Four Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension ensure you get the performance and control you expect from a rugged Chevy truck.
The first-ever all-electric Equinox joins the 2024 line-up, and it does so with style and sophistication. The 2024 Equinox EV features all of the latest safety tech, convenient charging options, and a spacious and comfortable interior. Available features like a sunroof, heated seats and steering wheel, and a power liftgate let you create the vehicle of your dreams. Plus, with such a reasonable price tag, the 2024 Equinox EV is considered the most affordable EV in its class.
The 2024 Blazer EV is another first and adds to Chevy’s ever-growing electric line-up. The Blazer EV takes “sport” to “sporty” with an array of flashy exterior colors and bold interior options. Performance seating, a racing-inspired steering wheel, and even ambient lighting take the Blazer EV to new and exciting heights. And, with an estimated time of 0-60 in under 4 seconds, you’ll reach those heights in a flash.
From Blazer to Trailblazer, a few changes hit the 2024 Chevy Trailblazer. As we turn back to traditionally powered automobiles, the gas-powered Trailblazer shows off a new front-end, wheel designs, exterior color options, and interior display center. The Chevy Trax is all-new for 2024 after having a short break from the line-up. It has reappeared as a larger version of what it once was and boasts plenty of cargo space and legroom to match its abundant list of features.
The 2024 Chevy Silverado comes in swinging with more options for the High Country trim, such as the available Midnight Edition. The 6.2-liter V8 engine now includes the Active Exhaust with Sport Mode, and the ZR2 gains the option of the Duramax 3.0-liter Turbo-Diesel engine. New exterior color options and the Blackout Appearance Package also increase customizability.
The heavy-duty Silverado also received a few upgrades for the 2024 model year, with the Allison 10-speed automatic transmission becoming a standard addition to the 6.6-liter gas engine and the 6.6-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine. Many of the Silverado HD trims sport a redone interior as well, providing a nice refresh for the line-up. A High-Country Midnight Edition and a ZR2 version of the heavy-duty truck are also added. The 2024 Silverado HD ZR2 is designed to up your off-road game and will make exploring some of Utah’s great outdoor landmarks even easier. Skid plates, a rear e-locker, and mud tires are a few of the things that elevate the ZR2 for improved trail trekking. The inclusion of the ZR2 Bison furthers the game with steel reinforcements and an improved approach angle.
